This cute little melting snowmen Army was for a GA bake sale...They were a big hit with the kids.

Watermelon flavored and decorated cupcakes.  I didn't feel that these need all the extra frosting.

This was my first horse cake. It was fun to make.  His ears are longer but from this angle it's kind of hard to see.

My first bunny face shaped cake with a carrot on the side.

This was our son's first birthday cake.  It was so much fun to make.

I did have a little issue with the cookie monster's head.  It fell off but it was easy to fix. :)

This was his SMASH cake...it didn't look much different when he got a hold of it.  He was not into the whole cake eating thing at all.

I made these cupcakes for a neighbor.

This fish cake was one of my designs and it too was fun to make.  We gave this out as a snack at the discipleship training class my husband teaches.

This is my first painted cake.  I loved doing this one too.  It kind of makes it a little more personal.   This is before I added some things :)
I didn't think about adding the plane until after.  I thought it would be cute although I did run out of room on the banner :( I think it still looks cute.

That is all the catching up I have to do for now.  The big things I have coming up is a Wounded Warriors Project Fundraiser the GA's are doing and my son's 12th birthday cake...I am really excited about this one too.

Hello everyone, I don't have much time once my son (10 month old) realizes that my computer is open I am finished LOL.  My latest cake turned out so good. I even got another cake adventure coming soon.  Here is my daughter's 15th birthday cake...
I even made peppers to go with the tacos.

I made some lightly mango flavored cakes for a bake sale....

There is a secret behind these white flowers.  I made my own buttercream frosting and thought that the consistency looked similar to that of spritz cookies and yes, I decided to try putting the frosting in the press and it WORKED!  When in a hurry, BOOM! lol...it's so neat!
Ok that's it for now, little one is trying to help...

I have done some baking...not too many cakes since the birth of our second son.  But here are some pics of what I have been doing.

This was my dad's 70th birthday cake.  It was chocolate with a mango filling in between the layers.

This hamburger cake was made for a Wednesday night dinner at church.  It was fun to make and was a big hit with the kids.
This was another one of my first fondant cakes.
These are my Fancy Cupcakes some of them have fondant.  I made these for a bake sale.

The Cow Head cake was for a cake walk at church along with the Breast Cancer Awarness Cake.  The cow was done with cocoa powder and the eyes were made with mini chocolate chips.  If I had of thought about it before hand I would've melted the chips and made solid circles for the eyes.  I'm sure that this isn't going to be the first time that I make this one so practice makes perfect.

This is just one of the tie dyed cupcakes I made for a bake sale. I didn't use any special packaging or any special kit for these.  Just plain old food coloring.

My Garden Variety mini cupcakes.  Made for GA  (Girls  in Action church group) bake sale.

The Oyster Bed cupcakes

This was my Christmas Poinsettia cake.  I made the cake from scratch along with the fondant.  The cake was rather dry so I will be trying a different recipe next time around.

I keep practicing my roses.  I can't tell you how many trys it took me just to be okay with the ones I put on my daddy's cake.  This cake was just chocolate all the way.

This was my New Year/Birthday cake.  I made this for a church member and for skating.  The top hat lifted off to be her personal cake.  This was a fun cake to make.
